Watched the new movie Devil Wears Prada last night.

The overall theme of the movie seemed a bit Girly..but its worth a watch. It did made me think why so much of emphasis is given to fashion initially but thought later that perhaps its just because i am getting signs of being nerdy.. Its about a 'not so inclided to high fashion' lady Andy who gets a job as assitant to one of the biggest magazine's (Runway) editor. The job is so called one which a million girls would even kill for. The boss is a ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly (well i figured the name from the title :)). She will make even the worst of your bosses seem much better. Its then about Andy does a 360 degree turn in herself. In this she ends up rupturing the relationship with her family and her loving boyfriend. The change is very nicely portrayed.

Anne Hathaway was very sweet and yes beautiful too.. But i liked the character of Miranda Priestly more..

The end was an unexpected turn by Andy. Its a slight change from my routine High packed Action and Masala Movies.
