There was an interesting documentary - "World According to Google" which i chanced to see. Well, was bit curious if i can get more info on the lifestyles of their employees. So i googled for the same and hit on this photo essay on the Time.

Water shortage is taking shape in UK and London in particular. The signs have started with the Thames Water, who is britain's largest water company is going to impose ban on hose pipes. So now people here cant water plants or wash their car using hose pipes. For those in chennai, this is nothing big as we have never had the chance of using hose pipes (not considering those who dont have the luxury of water in pipes).

This has come as a shock for many here in London. Many have started panicking if this would lead soon to a situation decades back when they had the worst water shortage in London. The people had to collect water in buckets from the nearby tap installed by the government on the roads.
