Heathrow - UK Border
Back from a short vacation, was standing in the immigration queue at Heathrow. Noticed that now there is a prominent sign behind the desks of the immigration Officers that says "UK Border". This i believe is a step to inform the visitors that by passing through the gates, they are passing the UK border (which anyways was obvious). I could not really understand the hidden meaning of that though (if there is any).

What is interesting is that as i was waiting in the queue for immigration check at the port of entry, i noticed that the 2 officers who were in charge of the queue control were 2 Sardarjis. They were talking to each other in chaste punjabi. Much to my joy of seeing it, it just flashed in my mind - "Welcome to the new vibrant muti-cultural London, UK"
